Calabasas 34, Santa Paula 3--Robby Coppola rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns in the first half for the Coyotes at Santa Paula.
Coppola scored on a seven-yard run early in the first quarter to give Calabasas (5-1, 1-0) a lead it would never relinquish, then closed out the scoring with a 13-yard touchdown run midway through the second period, giving the Coyotes a 34-3 lead.
Daniel Forhan made a 43-yard field goal for Santa Paula (1-5, 0-1) in the first quarter, but Jeff Arnell returned the ensuing kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown.
On the next Coyote possession, quarterback Scott Quigley connected with receiver Zak Lovenson a 26-yard scoring pass to put Calabasas ahead, 28-3.
