ORANGE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL / PREP EXTRA : Orange Lutheran Defeats Ontario Christian

Mike Crawford scored the go-ahead touchdown on a six-yard pass from Justin Smith in the third quarter to give Orange Lutheran a 21-14 Olympic League victory over Ontario Christian on Friday night at Ontario Christian.

The touchdown was set up by Mike Bollweg’s interception. Orange Lutheran (5-2, 2-0) then marched 44 yards in seven plays.

Ontario Christian (4-3, 0-2) moved the ball to the Orange Lutheran 21, but a pass from quarterback Benny Goedhart was intercepted by Chris Amato with 25 seconds left.

Crawford had tied the score at 14-14 for Orange Lutheran when he caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Smith in the second quarter.
