Titan Gymnast Lott to Miss Season

Cal State Fullerton junior gymnast Alexis Lott will miss the 1995-96 season because of a knee injury suffered in practice this week, Coach Lynn Rogers said Friday.

Lott, who was co-gymnast of the year in the Big West Conference last season, sustained torn ligaments in her right knee during a workout on the uneven bars.

Taryn Catlin, a senior setter at Sunny Hills, made an oral commitment to attend Purdue, Lancers Coach Ron Kasser said.

Catlin was selected to the all-tournament team at the Orange County/Southern California Division I girls’ volleyball tournament last month.
