JC FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Routine Effort Enough as Valley Sinks Harbor

Aaron Flowers completed 13 of 28 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns--average numbers for him--but Valley College easily handled visiting Harbor, 46-16, in a Western State Conference South Division game Saturday night at Valley.

Elijah Raphael rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns in 13 carries and also caught a seven-yard touchdown pass for the Monarchs (7-0, 6-0, 3-0).

David Eastham caught four passes for 44 yards and two touchdowns, and Maurice Bryant caught five passes for 115 yards.

Valley linebacker Ryan Venturine intercepted two passes. The Monarchs held the Seahawks (2-4, 2-4, 0-1) to 230 yards.
