In another Lady Centurion game:

Sonora 69, Santa Ana 40--Aiyana Nash had 28 points for Sonora (4-1) in the third-place game.

In the Carson City (Nev.) tournament:

Marina 55, Carson City 53--Adria Sortino, the tournament MVP, scored 19 points to lead Marina (4-0) to the championship. Sonya Bryant added 12 points and was named to the all-tournament team along with Kirsten Cappel and Natalie Nakase.

In the Downey Calvary Chapel girls’ basketball tournament:

Liberty Christian 74, Canoga Park Faith Baptist 40--Heather Hill had 22 points and Lynlee Vaccaro had 19 points to lead Liberty Christian (4-0) to the tournament championship.

In the Lady Vaquero Invitational:

Estancia 55, Irvine 39--Jessica Waltz and Amy Deming each scored 13 points to lead Estancia (3-0) in the championship. Irvine’s Lauren O’Hara was the game’s leading scorer with 17 points.

In the Rancho Grande tournament:

Lynwood 42, Brea Olinda 40--Brea Olinda blew a six-point lead going into the fourth quarter to fall to Lynwood in the title game. Stephanie Wettlin led the Ladycats (3-1) with 13 points.
