Jeff Jacaway scored 30 points, nine of them on three-point baskets, and was named tournament MVP in leading Bishop Amat to a 62-51 victory over Alta Loma in the championship game of the Arroyo boys’ basketball tournament last Saturday. . . . Glendora’s Josh Giles scored 29 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Tartans lost their first home game of the season in the title game of their own tournament, 71-56, to Brea Olinda. . . . Bridgett Flowers and Katie Volner scored 14 points each to lead Rowland to a 57-48 victory over Glenn in the championship game of the John Glenn girls’ basketball tournament.
