ABC to Air ‘Prequel’ to ‘Lonesome Dove’
“Dead Man’s Walk,” a “prequel” to Larry McMurtry’s “Lonesome Dove,” will air as a two-part movie on ABC next season.
Johnny Lee Miller plays Woodrow Call and David Arquette stars as Gus McCrae in the TV western, which was written by McMurtry and Diana Ossana.
Also starring are Edward James Olmos, F. Murray Abraham, Harry Dean Stanton, Keith Carradine and Brian Dennehy.
