PORTER RANCH — Fire swept through a house early Sunday, burning for nearly an hour and causing about $150,000 in damage before Los Angeles firefighters extinguished it, officials said.
No one was seriously injured by the blaze in the 18800 block of Dylan Street. The fire began about 3:10 a.m., but firefighters had yet to establish a cause, said Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells.
The fire was put out about 4:05 a.m. by 25 firefighters, but not before part of the roof of the one-story house caved in, Wells said. Arson investigators were summoned to the scene, and the fire remained under investigation.
