It was all in the family at the Miramax Oscar bash Monday night--a hot ticket that got hotter when Mira (as in Sorvino) brought the celebration to a max with her glamorous arrival at Spago in West Hollywood, where more than 700 guests downed 45 cases of Moet champagne and partied until 4:30 a.m.

An entourage of about 30 Sorvino family members, friends and admirers toasted the best supporting actress, who was dripping in Harry Winston diamonds with a silver-beaded Armani gown and Quentin Tarantino on her arm--and occasionally, on her lips.

“How about it!” a jubilant Paul Sorvino, Mira’s father, told relatives at the packed restaurant, champagne in one hand, Mira’s statuette in the other.

“This is the biggest night of my life. Simple as that. And family is everything to me,” Mira said smiling at brother Michael, sister Amanda, aunts, uncles and several cousins from New Jersey who throughout the night took turns holding Mira’s trophy.

Added Mira’s mother, Lorraine: “It’s a dream come true.”

Circulating around the appropriately dubbed “Il Sorvino” soiree were Timothy Hutton, Liam Neeson, James Woods, Stephen Rea and Richard Belzer.

Cliques of celebrities--Jay Leno, Harry Dean Stanton, Christopher Walken and Peter Coyote--reigned at tables inside a parking lot tent transformed into a little bit of Tuscany in homage to Miramax’s “The Postman (Il Postino).”

And everywhere, stars were shining and dining Among them: Anjelica Huston, Winona Ryder, Julianne Moore, Tim Roth, Jacqueline Bisset, Jennifer Tilly, Raquel Welch, Elisabeth Shue, Andrew Shue and Joan Collins.

Fellow Oscar winners sharing the spotlight were best supporting actor Kevin Spacey and Christine Lahti, who won the live-action short film Oscar.

“This is the icing on the cake,” said Lahti, hugging her Oscar. “I just hope that this would encourage women out there to direct.”

Other Miramax Oscar winners at the bash: James Acheson (costume design for “Restoration”), Eugenio Zanetti (art direction for “Restoration”) and Luis Bacalov (original dramatic score for “The Postman”), along with Miramax nominees Mare Winningham and “Postman” director Michael Radford.

Quipping about the offers that have poured in to him, Radford said: “I just hope they all don’t fizzle out tomorrow.”
