Obituaries : Gladys Crispin; Retired Beautician
Gladys Crispin, a longtime Ventura County resident, died Wednesday at her Thousand Oaks home after a long illness. She was 90.
Crispin, who was born Nov. 18, 1905, in Washington, Pa., moved to Ventura County 63 years ago from Pennsylvania.
She retired as a beautician and had owned beauty parlors in Thousand Oaks, Oxnard and Ventura. She had been active in the Thousand Oaks Moose Lodge.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth L. Crispin of Thousand Oaks; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Valley Oaks Memorial Park in Westlake Village. The Rev. John Greenlee will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Brothers Griffin Mortuary in Thousand Oaks.
