Calabasas 9, Brea Olinda 9--The Coyotes (15-5) advanced to the Division III semifinals on games, 88-80. Matt Snowdon swept three sets at No. 1 singles, winning 18 games and losing one.
Burbank 10, Chadwick 8--Rafi Hovanessian and Adrian Facchetti each won two of three singles matches for the Bulldogs (20-1) in a Division III quarterfinal at Chadwick.
Shaan Sethi and Sunil Dave of Chadwick (13-5) surprised Burbank’s No. 1 doubles team of Matt Baker and Oliver Lao, 6-4, but Baker and Lao won their next two matches to help the Bulldogs advance.
Santa Barbara 15, Camarillo 3--The favored Dons won eight singles matches and seven doubles matches at Santa Barbara to advance to the Division I semifinals.
Camarillo (17-4) posted an upset in No. 1 singles as Mike Mancini defeated Mark Longpre, 6-3.
The Scorpions also took two of three matches from Santa Barbara’s No. 1 doubles team of Ryan Loponis and Rakan Mosely, with victories by Jason Gaona and Matt Yarbrough, 6-3, and Tom Miskimin and Xunyoung Wang, 6-3.
