San Clemente Names 4 Coaches

San Clemente High named four coaches Monday. John Bandurak and Margie Westling were hired as the boys’ and girls’ cross-country coaches. Vince Yardum was hired as the girls’ tennis coach and Dan Johnson was hired as boys’ track coach.

Bandurak, also the girls’ swimming coach, and Dan Johnson, the weight training coach, take over for Bill Hartman, who remains a physical education teacher and surfing coach at the school.

Westling, an English teacher at the school, replaces Brian Scherbart, who remains a science teacher. Yardum, a walk-on and private tennis teacher, takes over for Jim Stevens, who left to devote more time to his family and teaching at Aliso Niguel middle school.
