Boise State Coach Has Cancer Surgery

Boise State Coach Pokey Anderson, 52, who was first diagnosed with cancer in his arm in December 1994, underwent surgery Thursday. A tumor was removed in March 1995, and along with months of chemotherapy that nearly killed Allen, it was destroyed. But the tumor sent out cancer cells that have lodged in his chest.
