Coach: Marc Parker (first year).
1995: 16-11, 5-0 in the South Coast League; lost to Long Beach Wilson in the Southern Section Division I quarterfinals, 13-8.
Key returners: Brandon Boisseranc, driver, Sr.; Jordan Hewko, utility, Jr.; Colin Shaughnessy, driver, Sr.; D.J. Yielding, two-meter defender, Jr.
Key newcomers: Matt Jenkins, goalkeeper, Jr.; Cheyne Maule, driver, So.; Jared McDaniel, driver, So.; Beau Schuster, two-meter man, So.; Cameron Thom, utility, So.; Pat Wong, driver, Jr.; Paul Wong, driver, Jr.
Outlook: Parker, one of the younger head coaches in the county (he will turn 25 Saturday), takes over for Steve Yancey, who resigned after 15 seasons with the Tritons, a transition smoothed because Parker also coached the swim team last spring. He has plenty of talent with which to work. Hewko (“Jordan can basically do what he wants out there,” said Parker, who coached the last two years at Coronado High.) and Shaughnessy are three-year starters who can control a game. Boisseranc is a strong defender.
