La Quinta Hires Cross-Country Coach

La Quinta High has hired Mike McManus to coach cross-country, principal Jim Monahan said. McManus, who played basketball and ran track and cross-country at La Quinta, also is coaching freshman and sophomore basketball at La Quinta.

Brian Fallman has been named boys’ varsity soccer coach at Trabuco Hills. Fallman, an assistant last season, is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
