There is little question about the athletic ability of Wheeler, who was a quarterback for Cypress High. Despite weighing close to 240 pounds, he moves like a much smaller man. Wheeler went 4-0 in winning the heavyweight division at the Sacramento tournament last Saturday. He had pins in the semifinal and final rounds. Wheeler, who is 8-1 this season, was 25-8 last season and finished fifth in the state.
