Baseball Playoffs, New Series and Politics

Major league baseball’s playoffs continue this weekend with the Atlanta Braves meeting the St. Louis Cardinals today at 1:15 p.m. and Sunday at 4:30 p.m. on Fox Channel 11, and the New York Yankees taking on the Baltimore Orioles, today at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. on NBC Channel 4.

Two new series premiere tonight: Nickelodeon’s “Kenan and Kal,” airing at 8, is a buddy comedy for kids. VH1’s “The RuPaul Show” sashays into homes at 11 p.m. RuPaul’s first guest is the outrageous Chicago Bulls star Dennis Rodman.

CNN offers two election specials Sunday: “Bob Dole’s Odyssey” at 6 p.m. and “The Perot Factor” at 7 p.m.

On the Sunday movie front, Sean Young, Jack Scalia and Charles Shaughnessy star in the CBS romantic drama “Barbara Taylor Bradford’s Everything to Gain,” at 9 p.m. on Channel 2.

Over on NBC, “Murphy Brown’s” Faith Ford goes dramatic in the sci-fi thriller “Night Visitors,” at 9 p.m. on Channel 4. ABC counters with the thriller “Sudden Terror: The Hijacking of School Bus 17,” at 9 p.m. on Channel 7. Maria Conchita Alonso stars.
