Costa Mesa 47, Calvary Chapel 6--Vince Hamade ran for three touchdowns and caught another as Costa Mesa ran away from Calvary Chapel Friday night at Orange Coast.

Hamade scored on touchdown runs of 48 and 22 yards to lift the Mustangs to a 13-0 lead after the first quarter. Brandon Jones added a four-yard touchdown run in the second quarter before Hamade added his third touchdown run covering 17 yards.

The Mustangs (3-2) increased their lead to 32-0 on a Hamade’s 17-yard touchdown pass from Dan Baume.

Villa Park 14, Corona 6--Dache Dameron’s 40-yard touchdown run midway through the third quarter sealed the victory for the Spartans at Corona.

Villa Park (2-3) got its first touchdown when Todd Snider blocked a 15-yard field goal and Roman Rocha returned it 85 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter.

Sun Valley Village Christian 17, Whittier Christian 14--Village Christian kicked a 26-yard field goal with eight seconds remaining to give the visitors the victory at Whittier College.

With Village Christian leading, 14-0, at the half, Brian Algori scored on a 45-yard run in the third quarter and Alex Petrie tied the game with a 37-yard run in the fourth.
