McIntee Scores 30 Points to Lead SCC to Victory

Justin McIntee scored 30 points to help Southern California College to a 94-84 victory over Northwestern (Iowa) in men’s basketball at SCC Tuesday.

Reserve Marlon Watson also had 12 points and 11 rebounds for Southern California College (3-1).

Cam Olson scored 26 points for Northwestern (4-1).

In other nonconference men’s basketball:

Biola 96, Pacific Christian 58--Pacific Christian was no match for Biola, which built a 23-point lead at the end of the half.

Charles Henderson had 13 points to lead Pacific Christian (1-5). John Florence had 19 points to lead Biola (4-0).

California Lutheran 79, Chapman 69--Greg Evans scored 13 points and Aaron Aguilera had 11 points and 12 rebounds for visiting Chapman (2-1), which shot 39% from the field. Brian Capella scored 18 points for Cal Lutheran (3-0).

In nonconference women’s basketball:

Long Beach State 65, Cal State Northridge 56--Long Beach State maintained a lead throughout the game to win.

Adara Newidouski had 17 points, including two three pointers, and 15 rebounds to lead Long Beach State (1-1). Ember Brown added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the 49ers.

Lisa Vaillancourt had 17 points to lead Cal State Northridge (0-1).
