Ho, Ho Hollywood
Pinky Meredith of Encino, a 78-year-old retired LAPD sergeant, marks his 50th year with the Hollywood Christmas Parade today. Meredith has worked at the traditional yule kickoff every year since 1946, when he rode in the motorcade. Now a part of the volunteer security force, he’ll be tending the greenroom for Grand Marshal David Hasselhoff.
