Time--5 p.m. TV--Fox Sports West. Radio--KWNK (670).
Pacific beat San Diego on Thursday for its third consecutive victory, 63-57. Pepperdine, trying to end a two-game losing streak, has been ineffective from both inside and out. Bryan Hill, moved from strong forward to center, is averaging 11.5 points, nearly four fewer than last season. Guard Marques Johnson, averaging a team-high 13.3 points, has been Pepperdine’s only consistent outside threat, making 10 of 21 three-point shots. Pepperdine’s small frontline will be tested by Pacific’s 7-foot junior center, Michael Olowokandi, who leads the Tigers with averages of 15.7 points and 7.3 rebounds.
