Aliso Niguel 24, West Covina South Hills 3--Running back Scott Nemeth carried 18 times for 124 yards and one touchdown to lead the top-seeded Wolverines (13-0) at Aliso Niguel High.
Aliso Niguel held South Hills (12-1) to a net of 18 yards rushing on a very sloppy field. South Hills quarterback Ryan Smith passed for 113 yards, but was sacked 11 times.
Nemeth’s three-yard score early in the fourth quarter gave the Wolverines a 17-3 lead.
