The weigh-in for the World Boxing Federation...

The weigh-in for the World Boxing Federation lightweight title fight between Juan Lazcano and Danny Lujan on Thursday night at the Reseda Country Club will take place today at 4 p.m. at the Country Club.

The public is invited.

Weigh-ins will include all fighters on the six-bout card, including Granada Hills heavyweight Lance Whitaker, who will face Marcos Dixon in a four-round bout.

In an intersectional matchup of traditionally strong girls’ soccer teams, Chatsworth (1-0) plays at Chaminade (6-0-1) tonight at 6.

Chatsworth, defending City Section 4-A Division champion, was 19-0-1 last season, including a 3-2 victory over Chaminade.

The Chancellors are led by forward Jackie Fodor and midfielders Beezy Preis and Pamela George.
