Pepperdine lost its sixth consecutive game Thursday night at home against Cal State Northridge and the Waves face more potential problems against the improved Titans, particularly if their shooting doesn’t get better. The Titans are averaging 73 points and shooting 44% in their best start since the 1992-93 season. Guard Chris Dade and forwards John Williams and Craig Whitehead have been solid performers. Dade is shooting 50% on three-point tries.
