Fulton was recruited as an outfielder, though she spent much of last season playing shortstop because of injuries on the team. She batted leadoff for the Royals, hitting .352, scoring 14 runs and stealing 18 bases.

A two-time All-Golden West League player, she will join her twin sister, Leslie, at Miami; Leslie signed a letter of intent in November.
