Three times the last two seasons, Laguna Hills could have played Brea Olinda if only the Hawks could win one more game. All three times, they lost. Now, Laguna Hills (28-3), ranked second in the state, needs a victory over visiting Moorpark (26-3) for a potential showdown with top-ranked Brea Olinda (28-3) in the Southern California Regional final. Brea Olinda will play Fresno Edison.

Brea Olinda (28-3) is coming off an 80-40 victory over Cerritos Gahr. Stephanie Wettlin has averaged 17 points the last three games, but has been most impressive in the timeliness of her big-game scoring. Rochelle Anthony, who moved pass Colleen Hudson’s school record for rebounds in a season (302) last week, has averaged 13 points and 13 rebounds the last two games.
