Laguna Hills 40, Brea Olinda 29--Senior center Tayyiba Haneef’s 14 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots led Laguna Hills to a Division II regional championship. The Hawks (30-3) recorded their 22nd consecutive victory while holding the Ladycats (29-4) to 10 points at halftime.

Brea Olinda, which had averaged 63 points against 15 opponents that had reached their section semifinals or higher, were 12 for 58 from the field. Rochelle Anthony led the Ladycats with 14 points and three steals.
