The Clippers put center Dwayne Schintzius on the injured list because of a stomach ailment and signed center Rich Manning to a 10-day contract before Tuesday’s game.

Waived by the Vancouver Grizzlies in January, Manning averaged 14.2 points and 5.1 rebounds in 27 games with the Quad City Thunder of the CBA.

Clipper Coach Bill Fitch thinks it’s unlikely that Schintzius, who spent the first two months of the season on the injured list because of a sprained ankle, will return this season.

Majerle, who had started 26 games, averaging 12.7 points, 3.7 assists and 5.1 rebounds, made one of three shots and had two points and a rebound in 14 minutes against the Clippers.
