Sophomore Nancy James and senior Chris Brown moved into eighth on the all-time Cal State Northridge track and field lists in the women’s 800 meters and the men’s 400, respectively, in Saturday’s meet against UCLA, Houston and UC Irvine at Drake Stadium.
James won the 800 in 2 minutes 9.29 seconds and Brown placed third in the 400 in 47.55.
The pair had previous bests of 2:10.37 and 47.73.
