Share

Trainer Wayne Lukas will look for an unprecedented 10th victory in the $250,000 Del Mar Debutante when he sends out 5-2 second choice Love Lock against seven other 2-year-old fillies.

Trying to give the Lukas back-to-back victories in the race--Sharp Cat won in 1996--Love Lock will be looking for her third victory in five lifetime starts.

Love Lock, owned by Michael Tabor, was pulled up in her last start--the Ellis Park Debutante on Aug. 9--but had all kinds of trouble. She will be ridden by Midwest-based jockey Joe Bravo, who will be making his debut at this track.
