North Hollywood 2, Canoga Park 1--Walter Perez scored on a breakaway with 10 minutes remaining to break a 1-1 tie for the Huskies (2-1) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at Canoga Park.

Hector Ramirez scored an unassisted goal in the first half for North Hollywood.

Sylmar 3, Van Nuys 2--Braulio Rodriguez, Jose Carcamo and Noel Sanchez scored for the Spartans (1-5, 1-2) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference victory over the Wolves (0-2-1, 0-2-1) at Sylmar.

Andre Pinero scored twice for Van Nuys.

El Camino Real 2, Kennedy 0--Eric Alvarenga took a cross from Jose Rivera and scored in the first half, and Rivera scored on a cross from Jason Burbidge in the second half for the Conquistadores (2-0) in a Northwest Valley Conference game at Kennedy.

Saugus 4, Quartz Hill 2--A.J. Reyes and Marty Schielke scored for Quartz Hill (0-2) in a nonleague game at Saugus (3-0).

Highland 4, Hart 0--Alan Fiedler had two goals and an assist, and Raphael Garcia added two goals for the Lobos (2-1) in a nonleague game at Highland. Manny Alberto had two assists.

Oak Park 3, Santa Paula 3--The teams tied in regulation play, but Oak Park advanced on penalty kicks in the first round of the Carpinteria tournament.

Aaron Benditson scored two goals, Nick Henderson had one and Brian Guerrero assisted on all three scores for the Eagles (0-1-2).

Calabasas 3, Westlake 1--David Rosenberg, Trevor Gale and Itzik Rapaport scored for the visiting Coyotes (3-0), who rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit in a nonleague game.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Harvard-Westlake 2, Marymount 1--India Mandelkern’s second-half goal broke a 1-1 tie for the host Wolverines (2-3) in a nonleague game. Susan Baise also scored for the Wolverines.

Crescenta Valley 1, South Pasadena 1--Shannon Moffit scored early in the second half but the Falcons (2-0-1) surrendered a goal with 10 minutes to play, allowing the Tigers (1-0-1) to salvage a nonleague tie.

Thousand Oaks 6, Moorpark 0--Lauren Mercaldo had three goals and an assist for the host Lancers (3-0) in a nonleague game.

Burroughs 26, Alhambra 3--Sarah Vejar scored seven goals, and Jennifer Dumandan and Amanda Basa each added five goals for Burroughs (1-0) in a nonleague game.
