Butkus Award to Buckeye
Ohio State sophomore linebacker Andy Katzenmoyer received the Butkus Award, presented to college football’s top linebacker by the Downtown Athletic Club of Orlando, Fla.
Katzenmoyer was the second sophomore in the award’s 13-year history. The other was Oklahoma’s Brian Bosworth in 1985.
The other finalists were Florida State’s Sam Cowart and North Carolina’s Kivuusama Mays.
