Baca Within Range of Fullerton Record

Share

Angie Baca, a sophomore guard from Norwalk John Glenn, is on pace to set the Fullerton women’s career scoring record.

Baca is averaging a team-high 17 points per game and has scored 677 points about a third of the way into her second season at Fullerton. Fullerton’s record of 917 points is held by Peggy Reid (1977-79).

Baca, who has a high of 34 this season, needs to average 13 points over the final 19 games (at least) in order to move into first. She also needs 27 three-pointers to set Fullerton’s all-time record in that department.
