In other nonleague girls’ soccer:
Loara 1, Savanna 1--Ana Medina’s goal in the 35th minute tied the score for Loara (4-2-2).
Sonora 3, Chino Hills Ayala 3--Sonora overcame a three-goal halftime deficit to tie Chino Hills Ayala. Sarah Gibson scored two goals for Sonora (3-1-2). Gia Ketelsleger scored all three goals for Chino Hills Ayala (5-2-1).
University 4, No. 9 Woodbridge 1--Laurel Averett had six saves for University. The Trojans improved to 2-2-3. Coral Bain’s second-half goal prevented a shutout.
In nonleague boys’ soccer:
St. Margaret’s 6, Temecula Valley Linfield 0--Jimmy Freeman scored three goals and Erik Hallenbeck had three assists for St. Margaret’s (6-1).
The Tartans’ defense prevented Linfield (0-6) from taking a single-shot on goal.
Meanwhile, St. Margaret’s could almost shoot at will, taking 33 shots on goal. Linfield goalkeeper Bryan Geer made 27 saves.

No. 3 Los Alamitos 7, El Dorado 4--Amy Valois scored three goals for visiting Los Alamitos.
No. 6 Newport Harbor 8, University 6--Alden Moore led Newport Harbor with three goals. Teammate Jocelyn Manderino scored two goals for the Sailors (6-1).
Erin Hayes scored two goals for University (5-3).
No. 8 Villa Park 10, Corona del Mar 3--Kristyn Pulver scored six goals for Villa Park. The Spartans are 8-2 and Corona del Mar drops to 3-6.
Laguna Hills 10, El Modena 4--Alexis Shubin scored four goals as Laguna Hills handed El Modena its first defeat of the season. Nahal Kavemi scored three goals for Laguna Hills (3-3).
Ashley Belcher scored two goals for the Vanguards, who fall to 5-1.
Mater Dei 11, Magnolia 5--Mater Dei’s Erin Kelly scored a game-high five goals as the Monarchs handed Magnolia its first loss of the season. The Monarchs are 6-2 and Magnolia drops to 5-1.
Saddleback 14, Orange 8--Saddleback’s Agnes Kanska scored a game-high nine goals, including four in the third quarter, in the Roadrunners’ victory over host Orange. Saddleback improves to 3-6.
In South Coast League wrestling:
No. 8 San Clemente 33, No. 10 Trabuco Hills 25--San Clemente’s Chris Hurtado worked an escape with one second left in his 112-pound match against Mark Hernandez to win, 7-6, and Chris Dollar came back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Mike McGovern, 8-2, in a 160-pound match.
In nonleague:
Loara 37, Esperanza 31--Edan Bar-Lev of Loara pinned Doug Nick in 1:02 in the 215 pound weight class to clinch the victory for visiting Loara (3-2).
