The Zodiac’s fifth consecutive loss was also the team’s worst ever: 6-1 to the Nashville Metros in an A-League game Sunday at Columbia Soccer Complex in Nashville.

Mourat Dahlal had two goals and two assists for Nashville (10-7), which scored its final three goals with a man advantage after Zodiac midfielder Sergio Mengual was ejected for his second yellow-card caution.

The Zodiac (5-9) scored first on a goal by Daniel Macedo, assisted by Gerardo Laterza, in the 22nd minute. But Nashville struck back, scoring in the 37th and 40th minute to take a 2-1 halftime lead.

The Metros, who beat the Zodiac, 4-1, in Santa Ana last month, took a 3-1 lead in the 56th minute and a minute later Mengual was sent off for an elbow.

The Zodiac plays at Milwaukee Friday and Minnesota Saturday.
