* Sign-ups for the West Valley Eagles youth tackle football and cheerleading programs are being taken today from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of Canoga Park High School.

* The second annual Mission Run is scheduled for 8 a.m. today at the corner of Brand Boulevard and San Fernando Road in San Fernando. Proceeds from the 3.1-mile run-walk will go to San Fernando Valley-area youth services and programs.

* The Royal Girls’ Basketball Camp is scheduled for Monday through Friday and July 21 through July 25 at Rancho Santa Susana Community Center in Simi Valley. * Reebok Sports Academy summer day camps for baseball, field hockey, football, track and field, volleyball and wrestling will run Monday through Friday at Moorpark College.

* A sports safety training course will be offered today at the Van Nuys American Red Cross center at 14717 Sherman Way.

The seven-hour course covers sports injury prevention, CPR and first aid. The course will be offered over two days on July 22 and July 24 at the Burbank American Red Cross center at 1001 W. Magnolia Blvd., and on July 24 and July 31 at the Van Nuys center. A one-day course will be offered July 26 at the Santa Clarita Valley YMCA.
