Williams May Start New Grambling Era
Doug Williams will be interviewed Wednesday for the job to succeed legendary Coach Eddie Robinson, who will retire this year after 57 seasons at Grambling State.
Williams, a quarterback who played for Robinson and went on to become a Super Bowl MVP with the Washington Redskins, is currently the head coach at Morehouse College in Atlanta.
“I’d be crazy not to want to be the coach at Grambling,” Williams said from his office Monday.
