Defending champion Santa Margarita started fast then held on to defeat San Marcos, 15-4, 15-9, 11-15, 13-15, 15-12, in the Division II-AA girls’ volleyball championship match at Long Beach State.
Senior Kiki Maroutsos had 11 kills and four blocks for the Eagles (17-3).
