The 31st Orange County Championships will be Saturday at Irvine Park.
About 52 schools are expected to compete as the top runners from all divisions will run on the three-mile course.
Tustin won the boys’ team title and Dana Hills the girls’ team title last year. Mission Viejo’s Marc Gleason won the boys’ individual title as a junior last season. Allyson Marquand won the girls’ individual title for the second year in a row last year as a sophomore, but she was dismissed from University’s team three weeks ago.
The first race starts at 8 a.m. There is a $4 fee per vehicle for spectators to enter the park.
