After Warm Spell, Fall Makes a Comeback

Autumn returns to the San Fernando Valley this week with temperatures predicted to be in the mid-70s.

“It looks like it is going to be fairly cool for the early part of the week, as morning low clouds give way to partly cloudy skies in the afternoon hours,” said John Sherwin, meteorologist with WeatherData Inc., which provides forecast information to The Times.

On Tuesday, drizzle is expected to accompany morning fog and low clouds, Sherwin said.

Later in the workweek, warmer weather will return as temperatures rise into the upper 70s and low 80s, Sherwin said.
