Leslie’s overpowering performance helped the top-ranked Sea Kings pull out their closest match of the season. Corona del Mar and Newport Harbor split 18 sets in their match, but Leslie won her singles sets, 6-1, 6-2, 6-0, to help the Sea Kings win in games, 84-78. She also swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, in a 16-2 victory over El Toro.

* Garden Grove, senior. Beat defending Garden Grove League champion, Los Amigos’ Veronica Sommer, 7-6, in team’s 15-3 victory.
