Moorpark 28, Santa Clara 0--Moorpark (6-1, 2-0), playing before a homecoming crowd, scored all of its points in the first half when it out-gained the Saints (1-6, 0-1), 209-23.
Erris Green scored twice for Moorpark--on a 28-yard interception return in the first quarter, and a 35-yard pass from Chad Willis on the first play of the second quarter. Shane Brogden added a 32-yard touchdown run later in the quarter.
Willis completed his first eight passes and finished eight of 12 for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
