Tough Opener for Fullerton
Fullerton College’s football team has a tough opening assignment against Mt. San Antonio tonight at Cal State Fullerton.
Mt. San Antonio was 8-3 last season, including a victory over Chaffey in the Southern California Bowl. Mt. San Antonio is ranked 14th in the state in the season-opening poll. Fullerton is unranked after a 5-5 record last season. The game starts at 7.

Long Beach vs. Golden West, Orange Coast, 1 p.m.--Long Beach (8-3 last season) is ranked ninth in the state. Golden West Coach Mike Shaughnessy starts his second season. The Rustlers went 1-9 last fall.
Orange Coast at Cerritos, 7 p.m.--Orange Coast was 1-9 last season. Cerritos was 9-2 last season and is ranked fourth in the nation by the J.C. Grid-Wire to start this season.
