Record vs. Portland--0-2.

Update--Fighting to hold off the Minnesota Timberwolves and hang on to the sixth playoff spot in the Western Conference, the Trail Blazers must be delighted to find the Clippers on their schedule twice in the final 10 days of the regular season. Reason No. 1: The Clippers have lost five a row; Portland has won its last two. Reason No 2: The Clippers are struggling even more than usual because of injuries. Center Isaac Austin didn’t practice Wednesday and is doubtful for tonight because of a bruised right calf, an injury that forced him out of Tuesday night’s game in the third quarter. Forward Maurice Taylor (hyperextended left knee) took part in a limited practice Wednesday, but is questionable for tonight. Reason No. 3: The Trail Blazers have won six in a row from the Clippers over the last two seasons.
