Illustrations Draw a Rave Review

I have just returned from New York, where I read the New York Times each morning. The New York Times uses illustrations instead of photographs on a much larger scale than the L.A. Times. I believe that illustrations make the paper more interesting.

I am so pleased that Life & Style uses illustrations that are colorful and thought-provoking. For example, your recent article on the Dodger make-overs (“Fox on the Field,” March 26) was beautifully illustrated. Keep up the good work.
