Crabtree Is Zeroed In for San Jose
Rob Crabtree (Cal State Northridge) is off to a blazing start in his second California League season.
The right-hander has pitched 13 shutout innings in five appearances for San Jose, striking out 19, walking one and giving up seven hits.
Crabtree, 25, was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 1996. He pitched at Bakersfield last season, going 7-7 with a 5.13 earned-run average and 116 strikeouts in 112 innings.
