Posse Can’t Catch the Suns, 4-1

Frank Valdez hit a two-run double in a four-run fourth inning and Pacific (12-22) defeated the Tri-City Posse, 4-1, in a Western Baseball League game Saturday night at Pasco, Wash.

The Suns have won 11 of 14 games.

Jason Regan scored on a bases-loaded error by High Desert third baseman Jarrod Patterson with one out in the bottom of the ninth to give the JetHawks an 8-7 California League victory at the Hangar. Lancaster (33-30) scored seven runs in the eighth.
