An auction fit for a king will feature a vast collection of medieval artifacts purchased by Richard Borison, a convicted embezzler who intended to build a castle in rural Georgia, the auctioneer said Tuesday.

Artworks, armor, castle doors, stained glass, wood paneling from a French manor, a pink love seat and other antique furniture, a Rolex watch and more than 150 Beatles albums go on sale Thursday in an auction estimated to fetch more than $1 million, said auctioneer Dean Echols of Manhiem Auctions in Atlanta.

Borison, 48, a researcher at the Medical College of Georgia, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to diverting millions of dollars from the school into his private businesses.
