Carson Advances to Racquetball Final

Santa Monica’s Rocky Carson, who attends Saddleback College, and Josh Tucker from Joplin, Mo., advanced Monday to the boys’ 18 finals of the International Racquetball Federation Junior Worlds tournament at the Los Caballeros Racquet and Sports Club in Fountain Valley.

In other semifinals, Shane Vanderson of Dublin, Ohio, and Erwin Bernal of Mexico advanced to the boys’ 16 final and Lisa Kerr of British Columbia and Brooke Crawford of Klamath Falls, Ore., advanced to the girls’ 18 final. Both finals are scheduled today.
