* CAL STATE FULLERTON (6-3) at SAN JOSE STATE (6-4), 2 p.m., KWRM (1370), KWRN (1550), delayed at 8 p.m.--San Jose already has doubled last season’s victory total under first-year Coach Phil Johnson, a former Arizona assistant. The Spartans have won four in a row, including Tuesday’s 74-52 victory over a Portland team that hammered Fullerton by 43 points Dec. 19. The Spartans’ strong defense has forced an average of 21 turnovers. Turnovers have been a problem for the Titans. Fullerton is averaging 19, including an average of 26 over the last three games. Fullerton center Matt Caldwell will sit out because of an automatic one-game suspension for being ejected in Tuesday night’s victory over Quincy. Ike Harmon (14.1 points) is back at nearly 100% after ankle problems.
